Michelle is the Co-CEO and Co-Owner of Studio Evolution. Along with her “work wifey”, Chantelle, Michelle is the powerhouse brain behind-the-scenes of the company. Her business prowess, marketing genius and technical wizardry helps make this company what it is. Here are some interesting things for you to learn about Michelle:
What is your role with Studio Evolution? I have had huge the honour in 2023 of coming on as Co-CEO and Co-Owner of Studio Evolution. I manage all of the back end and operations for Studio Evolution. I also manage a lot of the team and am responsible for hiring and onboarding all members into the company and being the relationship holder with key stakeholders. I also love being involved in the creation and delivery of programs but my love language is ensuring the team company systems, finances and operations are beating like a big beautiful heart.
What do you love about working on The Home Team? There are 2 parts to this. First my work wifey and Co-CEO and Co-Owner Chantelle and I are truly best friends. We have a very rare work relationship which people often describe as magic. We have similar and opposite strengths which truly make what we do a joy (not your typical work) and we always treat Studio Evolution as our baby (even though we have 5 between us!). Then for the Home Team, it is all about loyalty and how we always have each other’s back. When we hire someone, they never want to leave. When we catch up, by standers mistake us for a group of friends on a College or High School Reunion. We laugh, we play but we work even harder. It is truly the best mix of friends, respect, laughter and the most prolific work you will do in your life.
Fun fact about you that not many people know… When I was 4 years old my Mum would enter me into beauty pageants (more than one). I had no beauty pageant decorum but always had a ball. I remember one time when it was my turn to answer my featured question on stage I accidentally sneezed in the host’s face. Let’s just say I didn’t win that one and that was the point for my Mum to realise that I was not an onstage beauty queen 🙂
Share food or don’t share food? I LOVE sharing food. To the point my husband gets annoyed. I love tasting everything!
