Have you ever experienced a weekend so magical, you know it’s formed a core memory, and you will never ever forget it?
Well, I just had one of those last weekend. It was magnificent.
For the first time in 4 years, I was able to host in-person events with Studio Evolution. They were called Elevate and Reunion.
If you’ve been with me for a while, you know I love an event. I have really missed them over these last few years. I’m so grateful for Zoom, webinars, social media and all those wonderful things that connect me with my community but I love a mix of online and real-life events.
There’s an energy, a sparkle, to real-life events that I can’t even describe. When you sense the energy of the other people in the room, you get to watch them shed their skin and sink into the deep work. I am so lucky this is my job.
This event was extra special because it was the first event that Michelle and I hosted as co-owners of Studio Evolution. Last year, Michelle joined me as a co-owner and co-CEO and from that moment everything felt right. This year, we hosted side by side and it was just like it was always meant to be.

It’s that indescribable feeling of having people in your corner. Studio life is so unique and it’s really only other studio owners who truly understand it. The utter joy when we all come together, no distractions, clear eyes, full hearts. That’s when truly wonderful things happen.
I have seen it time and time again. Studio owners quietly walking in, wondering if they should have come. A warm embrace, ‘I’m so excited to see you in person!’. They begin to relax. We work, we play and we play some more. We move mountains, make plans. Solve problems. We dive in deep. Everyone stands a little taller, a little surer.
It’s transformational.
That’s what Studio Evolution is, at its core. A true community of studio owners learning and thriving together to totally transform their lives.
